It's been a known thing that Mr. Beast HIMSELF is literally the YouTube algorithm.
This man studied for years and years on how it all works. This ranged from the broadest parts like what's the best niche, to which thumbnails lighting contrast did better or worse. He put in so much time and effort to just study the platform; until one day he cracked it.
An important thing that Mr. Beast notes is that he laughs every time people make videos on the algorithm changing every week/month because he said (at least within the last 5 years) the core of itself really hasn't change at all. It's always the same formula.
So, continue reading below if you're fed tf up with your slow YouTube progress and you wanna start seeing results.
📸The Title-Thumbnail Strat🤳
I'm sure we all know by now that one of the key things you needa do is have a catchy title/thumbnail. Here's what Mr. Beast advised:
He said the title should be adrenaline provoking. People need to look at it and think "WTF IS THAT VIDEO" or "WTF ARE THEY GONNA SAY". That's all there is to it. If you want to appeal to a large audience and not a very specific one, you need them to have this reaction.
The thumbnail can relatively be whatever you want, but it HAS to be in relation with the title and the cleaner and more colourful it is, the better.
🚪The Open Line Strat📝
Mr. Beast mentions that this is one of the most crucial things that he did that would either cause him to fail or succeed.
The very first thing you say in your video, should reference the title. When people click on your video because CONGRATS your title intrigues them enough, if they're hit by an intro, ad, or literally anything else, there's a 60+% drop rate in views. People need to know right away that they aren't gonna have their time wasted and that they get what they came for. So, whether it's a little clickbaity or not, always mention your title in any way you can.
🎥The B & C Cam Strat📷
This was another crucial point he made that tremendously helped the retention rate of his videos.
If there's ever a part where you're talking and it's for longer than 5-10s without you actually doing anything, have a B and/or C cam to keep your audiences attention.
For example, you're doing a tutorial video and there's one part where you talk about (safety? or something lol) and you have no footage for it, find a word you say and put in a gif, or whatever it is you're doing a tutorial on. Also/or, have a B cam just showing the products or food or literally ANYTHING just to keep you're audience from getting bored. Just keep them distracted.
🍖The Keep'em Hungry🍜
Mr. Beast said, out of everything that he has advised, this is the most important to consider for the purposes of money and audience growth.
This one, you need to already have your base down. You need to know what videos do well for you, and then to just make a bunch more that's just as craveable.
The main action that you want people doing is NOT liking the video, NOT commenting, NOT subscribing, but to have them go to your page after watching one of your videos and having them binge watch you more.
The worst thing to happen is someone watching your video and them being fine with not watching another one of your videos for a week. You want them hungry for more!
🌍The Different Language Strat🌎
Once you've grown your channel big enough and you have a stable and loyal audience, you need to consider making multiple other channels in different languages.
There's only roughly 20% of people that speak English in the world. That means there's a whole shitton of other people out there that can't watch your videos that you could be getting views from.
Voila
That's it.
This information opened my eyes to understanding how this stuff actually all works and that it's actually pretty simple once you start realizing that you don't need to hack the YouTube algorithm, you need to hack the YouTube audience.
